Lil Nas X celebrated the end of Pride Month with a candid message to fans. In a tweet to his 1.3 million followers, the "Old Town Road" singer seemingly revealed he's gay while promoting his single "C7osure."

"Some of y'all already know, some of y'all don't care, some of y'all not gone fwm no more," Lil Nas X wrote. "But before this month ends I want y'all to listen closely to c7osure."

The lyrics for his new single read: "Brand new places I'll choose and I'll go, I know / Embracin' this news I behold unfolding / I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time / But I look back at this moment, I'll see that I'm fine."

In a follow-up tweet, the rising star made a reference to his newly released EP 7's artwork, which has rainbows drawn on some of the buildings.

The 20-year-old's revelation was met with a slew of positive responses.

Released on June 20, 7 debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart, selling 77,000 units.
