XSET, the fastest-growing gaming and lifestyle organization globally, has announced an exclusive partnership with Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley.

According to a news release obtained by Blavity, Tee Grizzley and XSET will invite people who have been formerly incarcerated to participate in Grizzley World RP, his customized Grand Theft Auto roleplay server. As a result, he is the first talent to join a gaming organization live in-game.

The Detroit rapper announced the partnership on his Grand Theft Auto server. He expressed his excitement about providing opportunities for people who face similar challenges.

“I’m excited to join XSET and take Grizzley Gang Gaming to the next level,” Tee Grizzley said. “I’ve always loved gaming for fun, but now it’s so much more than that. I’ve seen how this industry can really change lives, and I can’t wait to provide more opportunities for people who have faced similar challenges and adversities as I have.”

Tee Grizzley is known best for streaming Call of Duty and his roleplay server, Grizzley World RP, on his Twitch channel. He takes on various roles in Grizzley World RP, including head of the Grizzley Gang and detective for the gang unit. The server features everyday characters played by everyday people, with occasional pop-ins from friends such as LA Lakers power forward Anthony Davis, a member of Grizzley World.

Grizzley World RP has been named in the top 10 most popular GTA V RP servers worldwide within a year. The rapper also announced his latest album, “Built for Whatever,” on the platform.

As with his music, Tee Grizzley shares his captivating backstory and raw authenticity in his streams, allowing him to connect with fans and share a bit of his life with them offstage.

Gaming gave him and others a new and fun way to make money while keeping them out of trouble and off the streets – something he values most about the scene. Gifting a gaming PC to a friend recently released from jail and under house arrest, Tee Grizzley encouraged him to stay away from his old ways. As a result, his friend is now a full-time gamer and streamer too.

XSET CBDO and co-founder Clinton Sparks shared that Xset is about redefining the gaming world and is excited to welcome the “First Day Out” rapper to the team.

As a result of sales of the first installment, personal consoles will be given to formerly incarcerated people who are passionate about gaming and would like to start a positive future.
