The 2020 Lovers & Friends Festival is less than three months away, but there is still confusion about who will perform at the concert. Several artists went to social media to refute a report from promoter Goldenvoice, announcing the concert lineup on Tuesday.

Lil’ Kim is among the artists who have denied the report.

"This is so fake. I am not a part of this," she wrote on Instagram.

Twista initially denied the report on Instagram, saying "AINT NO DEPOSIT HIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THIS SHOW." But the artist confirmed the announcement after the deposit cleared.

"Locked and loaded playin all the hits ya diggg," he said.

Mase said, "best wishes on this show but pls take my name off of this flyer."

Following the aforementioned artists' denial of involvement, folks began to draw similarities to the Fyre Festival disaster. Soulection founder Joe Kay also defended the report on Twitter.

"This is real," he wrote. "We do not condone fake/mock up line ups. Everything we get behind is always official and locked in."

According to Complex, the artists who have confirmed Goldenvoice's report include Usher, Amerie and Snoop Dogg, who is also one of the event's organizers.

"Our festival is 100% confirmed. Lineups are always subject to change," Goldenvoice said in a statement to Complex.

Kay also defended Goldenvoice, saying the company organizes other well-known musical events and "they don't miss or do fake shows."
