A man proposed to his girlfriend during a Beyoncé concert in London, and the engagement didn’t go as planned.
The couple attended one of the shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and the man sought a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ask the woman he loves to marry him, the New York Post reported.
TikToker @harveykindlon shared a clip of the creative proposal to his account, with fans capturing the moment as Beyoncé sang her 2011 ballad “1+1” in the background.
In the clip, the man was on bended knee as he looked up at his girlfriend holding the engagement ring. As he extended his hand to the woman, she was in complete shock with a hand covering her face.

What happened next left many users feeling awkward and confused. The woman walked toward her husband-to-be while holding a stack of paper cups. As fans cheered the couple on, a person in the background can be heard saying, “B***h, drop the cups!” to the young woman.
Unsurprisingly, the man was startled by the outburst and dropped the ring. He scanned the ground to find the ring until a fan found it seconds later. Then, as things appeared back on track, the proposal had another hiccup.
The man attempted to put the ring on her right hand before someone stepped in and corrected him. He then placed it on her left hand, stood up as his now-fiance cried happy tears and embraced. Finally, the man held one fist in the air, with fans cheering as they captured the unforgettable moment.
