Maxine Waters held nothing back when discussing the shameful demographic that is the Black Trump supporter on Friday.

“Any of them showing their face, I will never ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities,” the Democratic California congresswoman said during a guest appearance on SiriusXM’s The Joe Madison Show.

The congresswoman specifically directed her message toward Black men, saying they will go down in history as having done the most despicable thing to their families and communities if they vote for President Donald Trump.

“Black men who don’t understand, if they’re not listening to you, if they’re not listening to our voices, they have a price to pay,” Waters told Madison. "They will shamefully be accused of having attributed to the lack of equality life for the people they claim to love so much.”

As Blavity previously reported, Lil’ Wayne became the latest rapper to support the president when he went to Twitter on Thursday to endorse the 74-year-old. The musician joined Kanye West, a seemingly undecided 50 CentIce Cube and Lil Pump as some of the rappers who have backed or collaborated with Trump.

According to a 2016 poll, 13% of Black men supported Trump four years ago, compared to 4% of Black women. Another Washington Post poll earlier this year concluded that 81% of Black men under 40 are expected to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. In the same poll, 94% of younger Black women said they support Biden.

Black Trump supporters have pointed to his economic policies, such as lower taxes, as part of the main factors in their decision making. Some are also swayed by the president's image as a wealthy and traditionally masculine figure, The Post reported.

Waters warned Black men about such types of traps.

“They think somehow, if they are going to support Trump, that they’re gonna realize some big sums of money that’s gonna come to them through some damn proposals that they are going to present, and they’re going to be taken care of and they’re going to be able to manage all of this money. They are crazy,” she said. “They’re not going to get a dime from these people.”

The Democratic representative reiterated the well-documented perception which has followed Trump throughout his life as a public figure.

“He’s a racist. He does not have any appreciation for Black people and Black women in particular,” she said.

As for the Black people supporting the president, Waters described their decision as "absolutely unconscionable."

"It is shameful, but if they would spend some time with us, we would help them to know what we’re struggling for and how they would be able to help us in this struggle,” the congresswoman said.
