An irate McDonald's customer was caught viciously attacking a Black female employee during her New Year's Eve shift.

Bay News 9 reported the man identified as Daniel Taylor jumped across the restaurant counter on December 31 and aggressively grabbed Yasmine James and she immediately fought back. The assailant also kicked another employee, Tateona Bell, in the stomach as he was escorted off the premises.

The news channel shared a now-viral video of the attack which was originally recorded by customer TJ Biandudi who claimed Taylor started the fight because he wanted a straw.

"My mom and sis Kinie Biandudi recorded this today … ????????‍♂️????(All started because he wanted a Straw)," he wrote in a Facebook post.

According to Newsweek the 40-year-old man who just celebrated a birthday was charged with two misdemeanor accounts of first-degree simple battery.

"I want her a** fired right now," Taylor screamed in the clip. "I was just asking you a f**king question, b***h."

Hidden Colors filmmaker Tariq Nasheed shared a tweet of the police report which identified the man as a transient.

WFLA News 8 obtained a statement released by a McDonald's spokesperson declaring customer safety as their high priority.

“Our highest priority is always the safety and well-being of our employees and customers at our restaurants. We have been in contact with the police department and are fully cooperating with their investigation,” the spokesperson stated.

Taylor may face up to one year in jail or probation and a $1,000 fine.

Definitely not the way we wanted to bring in the New Year.
