After spending over five months in prison, Meek Mill was released from jail on Tuesday.
Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin immediately took to Instagram to announce the exciting news and noted he was on his way to pick up the Philly rapper. In case you're wondering, that wasn't all talk! Rubin really did pick up Meek, but they didn't head to last night's 76ers game in a car — they went with style in a helicopter!

Once at the game, Meek received a hero's welcome as he rang the ceremonial Liberty Bell prior to tipoff.

Plus, it's obvious Meek was the 76ers' good luck charm because the Philly team won game five against the Miami Heat, their first playoff win in six years, according to Vulture.
Kevin Hart was also there, and you could see how excited he was on Instagram, where he screamed, "We home! We home!" in a video that ended with, "We're back like we never left!"
Rubin described Meek's presence at the victorious game as "destiny."
And fans were just as hype!

Meek Mill's last few hours:
– Was finally awarded bail after spending 5 months in prison

What did Meek Mill have to say about such an exciting day? He referenced an infamous hip-hop line, of course! “Today was a good day. Like Ice Cube said,” Meek Mill told reporters as his epic first day of freedom came to an end.
I asked @MeekMill after win what this day meant to him getting out of prison and Sixers win first playoff series in 6 years
