For eight years Michelle Obama graced the White House with class, style and intelligence and now a book of photographs commemorating FLOTUS44 is set to hit stands on October 17th. On Tuesday, Ten Speed Press announced the Fall release of Chasing Light: Michelle Obama Through the Lens of a White House Photographer. The book will feature 150 color shots by White House Photographer Amanda Lucidon."Mrs. Obama is a source of light and inspiration in my life," Lucidon said in a press release. "She was a mentor to me and so many people around the world. The work she has done with young people, especially girls and underserved youth, has helped me realize that I want to spend my life helping others reach their fullest potential." Each photograph will feature personal commentary from Lucidon.
The photographic tribute to Mrs. Obama comes just three weeks prior to the release of a photographic book by Pete Souza, who has gained a wide fan base for his photos contrasting the Obama and Trump White House. "Obama: An Intimate Portrait," is set to hit newsstands on November 7th.
We are here for all of this Obama nostalgia.
