Former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson is a businessman with a love for cannabis.

Tyson will host the Kind Music Festival set to take place on February 23 at the Tyson Ranch Resort, reports San Francisco Gate.

“The distinction of being the first-ever all-ages music festival that embraces California’s updated cannabis regulations and offering alcoholic consumption to those 21+,” the Kind Music Fest's site read.

Earlier 2018, the athlete-turned cartoon star of "Mike Tyson Mysteries" broke ground on a 40-acre plot of land in California City. It has turned into a cannabis paradise with various uses including hosting music festivals.

The Blast reported the resort is located some 60 miles southwest of Death Valley National Park in California.

Tyson stated early on the resort would have the Tyson Cultivation School—an educational facility to teach cannabis growers techniques to perfect their own strains. There is also a hydro-feed plant, supply store, edible factory, campgrounds and an amphitheater suited for events.

It “will allow master growers to have maximum control of their environment,” Tyson told The Blast in January.

The Kind Music Fest will be the first festival of its kind to be held in the Desert Hot Springs venue. Kind's publicist Kelly Walsh told local outlet, the Desert Sun, attendees can smoke marijuana on the resort grounds but California law forbids the resort from selling to them.

“In accordance with the 2019 laws, there will be no sales of cannabis products at the festival,” the site read.

Walsh added this event will bring new attention to Tyson's business ventures and his brand as a whole. "This is kind of a pop-up to introduce the brand and also to introduce Tyson Ranch,” said Walsh. “It’s a pretty new company.”

Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the nonprofit organization, Standing United, aiding those fighting drug addiction and dealing with homelessness.

Fans have to wait to January 2 to find out who will perform at the event. The Desert Sun reports up to 10 acts are planning to perform in front of 6,000 attendees.
