Mike Tyson’s attempt to skateboard ended in a disaster. The boxing legend was hosting skateboarding icon Tony Hawk on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast when he nearly wiped out.

The 56-year-old former heavyweight champion jumped on the board to impress Hawk, but only managed to stay on for a couple seconds before disaster struck.

“Oh, I better stop this,” Tyson said immediately after jumping on the board.

He then held on for dear life as he stumbled backwards. The people in the background can be heard gasping as Tyson nearly crashed on the ground.

As Hawk watched helplessly, the boxing icon stumbled backwards, knocked over a stool and banged into the wall before landing onto a leather chair.

“I’m OK,” Tyson said after landing on the seat. “Nothing happened.”

The 56-year-old had some fun when he went to Instagram to post video of the incident.

“Lucky that chair was there or it would have been a repeat of the hoverboard scare,” he wrote.

Tyson was referring to the 2015 incident in which he fell off a hoverboard and stayed in bed for a week, TMZ reports.

The heavyweight champ should probably stay away from daredevil acts from this point on.
