Misty Copeland unveiled a new Barbie doll in her likeness Monday morning on Good Morning America. In 2015, Copeland made history as the first black principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre.

The doll’s costume was inspired by the Firebird outfit from her first principal role at the ABT. Copeland was involved with Barbie and its parent company, Mattel, for the doll’s design.

In a press release, Copeland said, “I always dreamed of becoming an ABT ballerina and through Barbie I was able to play out those dreams early on. It’s an honor to be able to inspire the next generation of kids with my very own Barbie doll.”

The doll is a part of the Barbie Sheroes program, spotlighting women which honors “female heroes who inspire girls by breaking boundaries and expanding possibilities for women everywhere.”

Copeland joins filmaker Ava DuVernay, singer/actress Zendaya and more who have launched dolls through Barbie Sheroes.

The doll is now available for purchase online and will and rolling out to retailers nationwide.

Who will be next? We collectively won’t be able to deal with all of this #BlackGirlMagic on shelves.
