It’s officially 2022, and while some form of newness may have already occurred in the new year, rest assured that some things just won’t change, including the 2022 Grammy Awards happening at the end of the month (that is if it doesn't get pushed back amid COVID concerns). As we struggle to fight our way through this raging pandemic that has claimed so much of us, we can still celebrate our Black musicians and their contributions to music. Last year, Beyoncé made history as the most-awarded woman in Grammy history after her four wins, including Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song alongside Megan Thee Stallion for the hugely successful “Savage Remix.” In honor of this year’s ceremony, we’ve compiled a list of the seven most-awarded Black musicians in Grammy history.
