You've seen the action-packed, bloody first red-band trailer; how do you feel about seconds?
A new redband trailer dropped this afternoon. It doesn't look all that different from the first though; but there's some new footage the first one didn't have.
And if you haven't done so already, go ahead and mark your calendars as the film will be released in theaters on November 2nd.
One of the new 2012 projects we here at S&A are excited about, the movie stars RZA himself, Russell Crowe, Pam Grier, Lucy Liu and others; Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth served as producers on this $20 million project.
As of right now, the film's competition during the November 2 weekend are Denzel Washington's Flight (co-starring Don Cheadle), and the Disney's animation feature Wreck-It Ralph.
That's going to be an interesting weekend at the box office; will you go see Denzel in Flight, or RZA and company in Fists; or maybe both? I suppose age makes the difference here; one will likely appeal to an older, more mature audience; and the other won't. And both clearly have cross-over power.
Of course I'll be seeing both.
A test screening of the film was held in LA a few weeks ago, and S&A contributor Anthony, was present for that, and shared his thoughts on what he saw; if you missed that post, you can read it HERE.
Here's the new trailer:
