NASCAR is investigating a radio incident after someone hacked into Bubba Wallace’s communication channel with a derogatory message aimed at the driver.

The incident happened during Sunday’s All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina when the unidentified person said, “Go back to where you came from you a******. You’re not wanted in NASCAR,” according to Motorsport.com.

Wallace is the only full-time Black driver in NASCAR’s cup series. A spokesperson for the organization confirmed the 29-year-old did not hear or acknowledge the comments during the race.

NASCAR officials said security personnel conducted a probe into the incident to find out who the person is and how they hacked into Wallace’s channel.

Wallace finished second to Kyle Larson and reportedly flipped off the camera before speaking to Fox Sports about his performance. He said he was used to fans booing him in the stands since it happens at every event, Fox News reported.

“As long as you continue to live your life judging a book by its cover, that’s who you are,” he said. “Don’t change it up for anybody else. That’s the biggest thing. That’s fine.

“I mean, I finished fifth, I got a good payday. I’m good.”

Wallace congratulated Larson on his big finish in the series. He said his team started strong but fell short toward the end.

“Even saving, I just didn’t have what (Larson) had. I thought we could close the gap a lot more than we did, but just didn’t have it.

“He could attack hard and have something there in the end,” Wallace said. “If this was a normal race, something to be excited about – but this was for a $1 million, and you come up short and walk away with nothing,” he added.
