Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves made headlines following the team's 128-117 win over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night, but it wasn't because of his post-game press answers. Edwards drew laughs from everyone after he hilariously delayed questions from the press so he could wrap up his McDonald's order.

"Hold on y'all," the 20-year-old said. "Don't ask no questions yet. I'm trying to put an order in."
Edwards sifted through the McDonald's menu on his phone for a few minutes before placing an order for a couple of McChicken sandwiches and a drink with no ice.
The reporters waiting to ask questions were good sports about the whole scene, according to TMZ. One of the journalists joked that maybe the athlete's four-year rookie contract worth $44.27 million was forcing him to eat off the dollar menu at the fast-food chain.
"Yeah, yeah, cheap dude," Edwards replied. "I ain't gon' say cheap dude 'cause I like cars and jewelry but, yeah. Cheap dude, man. I'ma wait until my other contract hit. For sure."
Edwards previously opened up about his career goals this season, telling The Undefeated that he had hopes of making an All-Star team.
“My main goal is to get into the All-Star Game,” Edwards said. “I know I am going to get in the Rising Stars Game. I want to be in All-Star Game.”
While, the former No. 1 draft pick fell just short of his goal, his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns made the All-Star Game. But Anthony Towns had nothing but good things to say about Edwards, just as Edwards praises Anthony Towns.
“He’s special. He’s going to be someone special in this league because he wants to be special and he’s willing to learn and he’s willing to listen,” Towns told The Undefeated of his faith in the young athlete. “So, that’s what’s going to make him great. His character is going to make him great. He already has the talent. We all knew that when we drafted him, No. 1."
“But he just wants it," he continued. "There’s something there that’s different. I’ve seen a lot of players come and go. And he just has that thing. He just has that something you just can’t teach. It’s something that has to be built in you. And he has it."
