The psychological thriller is titled Désordres (Chaos), and it stars Isaach De Bankolé and French-Rwandan actress Sonia Rolland, as history professor Vincent and his wife Marie,
who have just moved from Paris (with their son) to a farm near a small
town in the south of France, looking forward to a quieter life. Marie, a
retired renowned international pianist unwillingly follows her husband.
However, their hopes for a serene escape is disrupted from the very
beginning, when Thibaut, one of Vincent’s students (played by Niels Schneider), invades their family getaway, and slowly, but surely, the couple starts to come apart.
The film is directed by Étienne Faure.
The film will open on April 17th in France. No
word on what other territories exactly it can be expected to be
available.
Let’s hope it heads west to the USA! Maybe a local film festival will pick it up.
A brand new clip has been released and it’s embedded below. It’s not subtitled, but there’s very little dialogue in it anyway; the images tell the tale…
