At its 2018 I/O developer conference on Tuesday, Google announced that it has another Legend collab in the works: Google Assistant will feature six new voices, and the "All Of Me" singer is one of them! According to NY Daily News, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced Legend will be joining that group of voices coming through consumers' phones and home speakers later this year.
"With this technology, we started wondering who we could get into the studio with an amazing voice," said Pichai.

Previously, Google Assistant used a woman code-named Holly, as its primary voice. Thanks to the help of Wavenet, the new Google Assistant will have a more natural-sounding and conversational voice.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, yes, John's wife had something to say about the news:

We're certainly here for the idea of a more soothing Google Assistant. Legend's voice is like velvet, so it will most certainly upgrade your morning greetings, calendar reminders, weather updates and more!
