New details in the ongoing Stephon Clark investigation have emerged following the release of 50 new videos of Clark's killing by Sacramento police officers, the Los Angeles Times reports. The videos show officers waiting five minutes to offer Clark medical aid as he lay motionless in his grandparents' backyard because officers believed he was armed and playing dead.

The department was required to release the footage by law, which states that film from critical incidents must be released to the public within 30 days of being recorded.

One of the bodycam videos shows a male and a female police officer assessing the situation after Clark has been shot.

"He have a gun?" the male officer asked. Another officer responds that no weapon has been found.

"I don't see it," another said. "He hasn't moved at all."

One officer noted that Clark has one hand on his face. After, the officers begin to yell at Clark, hoping to get a response.

"Hey! Can you hear us?" asked a male officer.

"Police Department, can you hear us?" asked another male officer.

Stephon remained on the ground motionless, but the officers were hesitant to approach him, worried about an ambush.

"We need to know if you're okay," a female officer said. "We need to get you medics, but we can't go over to get you help unless we know you're, you don't have your weapon."

"Let's have the next unit get, just bring a non-lethal in case he's pretending," the female officer added.

Later, one of the officers can be heard saying in the background, "Like this, something in his hands, it looked like a gun from our perspective."

Clark was fatally shot at 20 times after police officers received a call that someone was breaking into cars.
