Darla Miles was reporting on a bus accident on Wednesday when a gentleman almost walked on-screen and blocked her shot. Without skipping a beat, the Spelman graduate stopped the pedestrian from entering the shot by creating a barrier with her hand. The man was then forced to walk behind her. And she didn’t miss a beat as she continued to report. Miles’ quick instincts had folks on Twitter coming up with their own reactions, proving that once again many of us online share the same brain.

The Black momma’s armbar is here to save the day again.
That was a black momma’s arm that whipped out with zero hesitation! That same arm saves lives in cars during sudden stops and today it put the breaks on his potential LIVE report interference. ????

Miles quickly caught on to her accidental fame and says she saw the gentleman coming, which led her to properly arm herself.
Thanks Todd, but srsly I saw him coming. No one was waving him away. It’s just an acquired reflex after 10yrs of reporting on these #NYC streets!!???????????????????? https://t.co/d5U78tfyy8
