Golf and cocktails? Don’t mind if we do!

NBA player Nick Young and former NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz have teamed up with Tequila Avión to create the Caddie’s Caddy Kits, curated with golf course essentials and signature cocktails inspired by famous golf lovers and featuring Avión Range – Reserva 44 Extra Añejo and Reserva Cristalino.

The athletes gave statements about how they feel about their respective cocktail kits, with Young saying he is excited to work with Cruz to bring these kits to the public.

“I may be a bucket on the court, but I’ve been working on my swing too. I’m excited to hit the course with my man Victor Cruz and sip on some of this Avión,” he said. “While I do like to enjoy drinking Tequila Avión Reserva 44 straight on the rocks, I also wanted to create my own spin on the margarita that is Swaggy P approved.”

“Nick may be swaggy, but I’m already salsa dancing to the finish line,” added Cruz. “Touchdowns may be what I’m known for, but every win needs a celebration and I prefer the quality and taste of Cristalino to toast all the elevated moments in life.”

Each kit includes a 750ml bottle of Tequila Avión’s Reserva Range, an original cocktail inspired by Young or Cruz (depending on the kit you buy), a crystal decanter, and golf accessories including a bespoke leather nickel bag, ball marker, bar towel, and limited edition autographed golf balls.

The Nick Young “Swaggy Marg” Cocktail Kit describes its cocktail as “a refreshing summer cocktail with watermelon, lime and honey.” The Victor Cruz “Spicy Cruarita” Cocktail Kit includes the recipe for the Spizy Cruzarita, described as adding “fuego to the competition with homemade summer pepper syrup and lime.”
