Omar Sy (The Intouchables) just posted the tweet above at midnight. Sy will join Chris Pratt, Irrfan Khan, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson and Idris Elba in the 4th installment of Steven Spielberg‘s Dinosaur-Park Saga titled Jurassic World, set for a release date of June 12, 2015 stateside and in the U.K.
In case you haven’t been following the latest developments of World, to begin shooting in the next few days, Colin Trevorrow will direct the latest in the Franchise, which will no longer see Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and Laura Dern in the leads of Ian Malcolm, Alan Grand and Ellie Sattler, respectively.
In an interview with IGN from earlier this week, Trevorrow said, “I know a lot of fans want to see the original characters back. They’re iconic. But I respect those actors too much to shoehorn them into this story for my own sentimental reasons. Jurassic Park isn’t about the bad luck of three people who keep getting thrown into the same situation.”
Aside from the return of chief geneticist Dr Henry Wu, played by BD Wong in the first film, no other details have been released on the new characters in World, including Sy’s.
