Given the interesting love drama that has unfolded on Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood between Lil’ Fizz and Apryl Jones, the lineup isn’t much of a surprise.
Jones is Omarion’s ex-girlfriend and mother of their two children. And to add a little dash of pettiness, the announcement just so happened to come on Lil' Fizz's birthday.
Folks quickly hopped on Twitter to react to the news and commended Omarion on playing his cards right.
Omarion told Fizz he was dismissed on his birthday. He wasn’t quiet, he was plotting his petty. I STAN pic.twitter.com/QkpEH1Ido2

Omarion had us all showing that interview to our friends and therapists and pastors asking how we could be more like him… What prayers did we need to pray to be that calm? What work did we need to do to get there?!
Turns out it was all just strategy.
Life is wild.

Fizz gonna be stuck at home watching Omarion kids while he’s on tour….. a beautiful move, tbh.

In a recent interview with VladTV, Omarion showed no signs of anger or adverse feelings about Fizz and Jones’ relationship.
“I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it,” he said. “She is still the mother of my children. When something affects her, it affects my kids, and that affects me."
While Omarion did note that the narrative of the couple’s relationship was skewed and should be changed, he said that what Jones does is up to her and simply added, “Live your life.”
After the news spread, rapper Joe Budden tweeted his two cents, referring to the day as "Omarion Day."
Nah today is officially Omarion Day, ain’t no more birthday for Duke.
