A white supremacist who intentionally drove over a Black teen and killed him was found guilty this week by a jury Multnomah County, Oregon.

Russell Courtier was a vocal white supremacist with a lengthy criminal history. He joined the white supremacist group European Kindred 15 years ago while incarcerated. According to Oregon Live, the initials and logo of the racist prison gang were etched into a cap when he ran over 19-year-old Larnell Bruce Jr.

In August 2016, Courtier and Bruce had a bare-fisted brawl at a local 7-Eleven convenience store in Gresham, Oregon.

The fight was over quickly, but the now-40-year-old was not finished. With his girlfriend egging him on, Courtier got in his Jeep and ran down Bruce while the teen walked on a sidewalk.

“Get him, baby!” Colleen Hunt reportedly said at the time. “Run him over!”

The defense argued he was in a fight weeks before the encounter with Bruce where he sustained a concussion.

However, the concussion argument was not enough to save him.

In a unanimous 12-0 decision, Courtier was found guilty of murder, second-degree intimidation and hit-and-run driving.

Charges of this magnitude hold a 25-year minimum sentencing. Courtier will not be eligible for parole until after he serves the minimum.

As for his girlfriend, Hunt, the 37-year-old has already pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter charge according to The Portland Mercury. She will be sentenced next week.

The last time a white supremacist was convicted in a hate-filled attack on a Black man was in 1989. A gang of skinheads attacked Ethiopian immigrant Mulugeta Seraw with baseball bats.
