Continuing with pre-festival coverage of the 2013 Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles, next month… Here's another highlight of this year's event that attendees may want to have on their to-see lists.
Making its World Premiere at the PAFF, a feature film written & directed by lamont pierré for Freedom Writer Pictures, titled Talking With The Taxman About Poetry.
Its synopsis reads:
An uninspired writer is manipulated back to life when an enigmatic trumpet player causes an awakening in him through the powerful medium of the written word.
The film stars Kareem Ferguson, Steph Jones, Diarra Kilpatrick, Vanessa Simmons, and Sal Stowers.
We first alerted you to it last summer, while it was still in post-production. Now, it's set to make its debut at PAFF 2013, which will take place at the new Rave Cinemas Baldwin Hills 15 at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in Los Angeles, and will kick off festivities with a star-studded Opening Night Gala on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Rave Cinemas Baldwin Hills 15 theatre.
