R. Kelly’s publicist was confronted by the parents of Joycelyn Savage, one of the women publicly dating R. Kelly, at a news conference on Friday. 

A video of the incident shows the father of Joycelyn, Timothy Savage, yelling, “I wanna know where my daughter's at! Where is she at? Answer that question!” 

To which publicist Darrell Johnson responds that he is a crisis manager and “not a babysitter.” 

The family of Joycelyn Savage, 24, have been fighting to see her for about two years. She has been accused of being brainwashed and held hostage by R. Kelly. Savage’s parents reportedly have audio tapes that prove she has been brainwashed, according to WSB-TV. 

Savage has most recently been seen in a widely circulated interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning. During the interview, Savage sat down with Azriel Clary, another girlfriend of R. Kelly’s, to discuss the relationship, Blavity reports. 

After the interview, King noted that R. Kelly was standing nearby and attempted to stop the interview on several occasions. 

The R&B singer and known child predator now faces federal charges of child pornography, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice, as previously reported by Blavity. The singer has been acquitted by the state court of Illinois for many of the same allegations, but this is the first time he has been charged federally.
