Celebrity Big Brother premiered last night with Omarosa Manigault Newman expressing her feelings about Donald Trump — something we can expect to see all season and beyond.

The former Apprentice star turned White House aide said with tearful eyes that she was "haunted" by Trump's tweets.

“I was haunted by tweets every single day, like what is he going to tweet next?” Manigault Newman told television personality Ross Matthews.

She also claims that during an attempt to reason with President Trump about some of his tweets, she was "attacked" and denied access by "all of the people around him," including his daughter, Ivanka, and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

Manigault Newman says she joined the administration out of a sense of duty saying, "I felt like I was serving my country, not serving [Trump]. It was always about the country."

OK, girl. If this was supposed to invoke sympathy within us, it did the opposite.

When Don Lemon mentioned Manigault Newman's comments on his CNN show, Symone Sanders let us know that she was not here for Omarosa's shenanigans.

"It's Black History Month, Don. We gotta talk about Omarosa?" Sanders said pursing her lips together and shaking her head.

Sanders described Omarosa's actions as an "apology tour" and "an opportunity to salvage her reputation."

We can't say we disagree.

Most of us would prefer not to spend Black History Month worried about our skin folk Omarosa. Instead, let's reflect on the greats who have paved the way. Next caller!
