The Museum Of Missy Elliott is opening in NYC on August 24.

The pop-up museum, sponsored by MTV and Pepsi, promises to be an interactive experience that honors the legendary rapper.

The museum will also feature the creative visionaries behind some of her most iconic projects, including June Ambrose, Hype Williams, Dave Myers, HiHat, Billy B and Gloria Elias-Foeillet.

Tickets to visit the pop-up museum sold out within one day.

Located at 632 Broadway in New York City, the museum will be open on August 24 and 25.

Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott will also be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2019  MTV Video Music Awards. Viewers can expect to see a jaw-dropping live performance on the VMA stage.

Her list of awards and accolades is extensive. Not only is the visionary the first female hip-hop artist to receive an honorary degree from Berklee College of Music, but she is also the first female rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The "Supa Dupa Fly" rapper took to Twitter to express her gratitude.

Known for afro-futurist visuals and her unique fashion, it is clear the rap game would not be the same without her.
