Twenty-one-year-old Senegalese-Italian TikToker, Khabane “Khaby” Lame, has over 115 million followers, making him the platform’s second-largest creator. Lame is known for both his viral life hack videos and responding to people doing absurdly simple daily tasks with his signature silence and sarcasm.

However, when Lame used his online platform to take a stand of a different kind, he said many of his fans unfollowed him reports Business Insider.
In an Instagram Story, the silent content creator posted a message that read, “Say No To Racism.” Apparently, some of his fans took issue with the anti-racist messaging.

Lame received comments from followers saying they were unfollowing him as a result of his post. Upset fans have taken it a step further by creating alternate handles “Khaby.is.lame” to prolong the “cancel train.”

He addressed the upset fans in another Instagram Story post, where he said he’s not afraid to lose followers if it means standing up for what’s right.
“I’m seeing a lot of comments where people say: I unfollow you because you did this video, I don’t mind guys,” Lame wrote. “We are almost in 2022 and people still use racism because they have nothing to do in their life. Be happy, follow your dream and try to save the planet.”
“You can also unfollow me,” he continued. “I don’t care about the numbers I care about your hearts! If you do think of something new, do it right and in a positive way!”
There’s no word on just how many followers Lame has lost, but what we do know is he’s going to stand ten-toes down no matter what.
