With Stephen Lloyd Jackson's last film, the acclaimed award-winning 2011 drama David Is Dying, behind him, the British writer/director is moving ahead with his next feature, said to be part of his "Sex And Race" trilogy of films, titled Sable Fable.
The project was actually announced in March, and as I just learned via press release, shooting is officially underway.
Locations include Balham, Tooting, Clapham Common, Brixton and Oxford Street in Central London, with principal photography set to wrap in September, shooting for a 2013 premiere.
Its synopsis reads:
Sable Fable is a beautiful story exploring the complex psychology of love, sex and ethnicity through three very different couples whose lives intertwine with one another through a series of unfortunate events.
