According to the Washington Post, four fraternal quadruplet brothers hailing from Liberty Township, Ohio were all accepted into both Harvard University and Yale University, and we couldn’t be more excited for this tremendous accomplishment. If that isn’t impressive enough, the quadruplets have collectively gained admission into five other top-tier schools, including Duke, Stanford, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins and Cornell.
The Wade quads was attending a late track team practice at the moment they found out about their college acceptances.
Their immediate feeling concerning this unmatched victory? “We’re still in shock honestly, I don’t think it has sunk in yet,” mentioned Aaron. “We didn’t go into this thinking ‘Oh we’re going to apply to all these schools and get into all of them.' It wasn’t so much about the prestige or so much about the name as it was — it was important that we each find a school where we think that we’ll thrive, and where we think that we’ll contribute.”

According to Harvard Gazette, 2,056 students were admitted to Harvard University’s Class of 2021 out of 39,506 applicants.
The fraternal quads currently are not sure if they’ll remain a united set throughout college, but if they decide to attend Harvard or Yale, they will receive full-ride tuition coverage as these universities pledge to cover demonstrated financial need for admitted students.
We’re proud of the Wade quads for demonstrating true black excellence, and we wish them well in their future endeavors!
