The current news cycle is a whirlwind of stress, so it's always nice when a feed-good story peeks through the dark clouds. Cue Chicago rapper Cupcakke, who dipped into her own pockets to help a LGBTQ teen in dire need of help.

According to Teen Vogue, LGBTQ advocate @queerstewart tweeted out a call to help a 19-year-old teen secure housing for a maximum of five days so that she could get back on her feet after hitting a rough patch.

The teen @queerstewart hoped to help also set up a GoFundMe stating, "Due to a current situation I will be out of a place to live more than likely by the end of the upcoming week. Literally anything helps !!!! Even if it’s just $1.00. I’ll also take recommendations for shelters, any kind words and things of the sort!!!!"

The True Colors Fund and other nonprofits have pointed out that LGBTQ youth are at a high risk of becoming homeless; True Colors' data suggest that there around 640,000 homeless LGBTQ youth in the U.S. alone.

Cupcakke has been vocal about supporting the LGBTQ community in the past, and even has a song titled "LGBTQ," which is an ode to the LGBTQ community.

Seeing the tweet, the rapper decided to reach out not just with words of support, but with her money, and with just a few simple words, changed the teen's life:

@queerstewart was quick to tell the world of the rapper's good deed:

When made aware of what Cupcakke had done, the 19-year-old was overwhelmed with emotion, and personally thanked the rapper:

Oh, and this isn't the first time Cupcakke has done something this sweet! According to XXL Mag, she also offered a hotel stay for a youth who was kicked out of their home for being gay early last year.

Now that's what we call paying it forward! Go Cupcakke, go!
