Rick Ross, an award-winning rapper and enthused car collector, shared that he just earned his license at the tender age of 45.

The rapper, who says he has more than 100 cars, told The Today Show he was pressured into taking the test by his mom and sister.

“My mom and sister pressured me, finally, so I went, took the test,” Ross said. “It took me an hour. You know, I missed a few answers, but I got it, I got it.”

The rapper wasn't shy in hinting that he's gotten behind the wheel without a license and added whenever he got pulled over he would just flash his smile at the officer.

“It was just something about my smile, and anytime I got pulled over, by the time the officer walked up…” he said before grinning at the ceiling.

The "Hustlin'" rapper shared that it was his handsome smile that got him off the hook. 

Despite saying that it was worth the wait, Ross admitted that he was driven to the test. 

“I actually was driven to the test. I have over 100 cars, and I just hadn’t had my license,” the rapper revealed. “So whenever I go joy riding, you know, it was just one of those things.”

During the interview, The Perfect Day to Boss Up: A Hustler’s Guide to Building Your Empire author also revealed that when he wakes up at 6 a.m. he walks around his 235-acre property barefoot, referring to the routine as "barefoot chronicles."

"I give the universe the opportunity to bless the boy," he said, adding that he prefers to focus on preparing for life's wins rather than its losses. 

“I’d have my first glass of Luc Belaire – I like to start with champagne – and then I would talk (expletive) the rest of the day,” he said, according to USA Today.

The 45-year-old released his new book and has detailed his perspective on fellow musician Kanye West, his experience as a business owner of Wingstop and his tips for success. Ross also said the book will provide readers a “90-day experience of waking up with Ross.”

“I have 20 current partnerships and people want to know, ‘Rozay, how did this happen?,’ especially when you wake up every day excited to do all of this,” Ross told USA Today. “To me, the way we manage our time is the most valuable commodity.”

The rapper also plans to go on tour in October which kicks off in Atlanta and is preparing for his first "Boss Up" conference at his estate.
