Someone has finally heard a sample of Rihanna’s new album, but he isn’t able to talk about it.
Why?
He isn’t old enough to speak.
On Monday, the “Work” singer posted an adorable picture on her Instagram page of a young listener in the studio.
Based on lil' man’s facial expression, Rih Rih is coming at us with some heat. The baby belongs to Jenn Rosales, Rih’s project manager and right-hand woman, according to Remezcla. His name is Aaron, and he was born on July 11. Rosales also posted the picture with a telling caption.
“When tia @badgalriri gives you the first listen," Rosales wrote.
Rihanna has been dropping hints about a new album for months. Her last release was Anti in 2016. Since then, she’s taken over the makeup and lingerie industries.
When a fan asked about new music, she told them it’d be out this year, reports Billboard.
"But when is the album dropping Robyn? Can we have a release date for that?" the fan wrote under an Instagram post.
“2019,” she replied.
Fans might even be blessed with two albums, as Blavity previously reported.
Last July, an anonymous producer told Rolling Stone Rihanna had hundreds of tracks from which to choose.
“[Rihanna’s team] have, no lie, 500 records for this project [from] different producers and writers,” the source said. “They’re only choosing 10 records. They’ve been having writing camps and trying to keep them quiet for almost a year and a half now. I’ve been flying to Miami, flying to L.A., cutting records nonstop for this project.”
