The Bajan pop star is making sure children in places across the world, who don’t have proper access to education, are treated better. Rihanna’s Ciara Lionel Foundation is partnering with the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen to “advocate for the rights of the over quarter of a billion children and young people who are not in school today and an estimated 330 million who are in school but not learning.”

This partnership makes Rihanna the newly-appointed global ambassador for the partnership!

In this role, RiRi will “encourage world leaders and policymakers” in over 60 developing countries worldwide so poor and vulnerable children will be able to receive a quality education.

In a press release, Rihanna said, “I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education. Therefore I’m proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation’s partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally.”

Rihanna got the keys. Be like Rihanna.
