While she has emerged as a global icon, the Barbados native is focused on inspiring and giving back to her community.

"It feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this,” she said.

The star also mentioned her respect for Black media.

"I have to come to the Black media because you guys have an audience that I respect and an audience that is huge fans of mine," the "Umbrella" singer said in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked at her Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 showcase in New York City

“Every dollar I make, I want to give it back,” Rihanna said. “When it comes to people who need help, it hurts when I can’t do as much as I want, so now we’re just putting our foot down and CL.F. is about to grow in a way that I’m really proud of.”

The artist, also known as Robyn Fenty, launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 to provide a cosmetics company that made “women everywhere [feel] included.”

The world-famous entrepreneur is upholding her promise while rising up the ranks as one of the wealthiest people on the planet. Rihanna is now the wealthiest female musician in the world, Forbes reports. She is also second behind Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.
