Russell Wilson is not only the NFL's highest-paid player, but he is also the most generous.
Wilson made headlines recently after signing a four-year contract extension worth $140 million. Now, TMZ reports the quarterback is investing a significant amount of that cash into his entire offensive line.
ESPN confirms he gifted each of them with $12,000 in Amazon stock.
The unique present was extended to all 13 linemen with a letter that explained the charismatic surprise was his way of showing gratitude and appreciation.
"You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family," Wilson's note reads. "This does not go unnoticed and it is never forgotten."
"When I sat down to think of ways to honor your dedication a dozen different ideas came to mind," the 30-year-old continued. "Some were flashy, some were cool but I wanted to give you something that had a lasting impact."
The father of two noted that he chose the multibillion-dollar company for the new stockholders due to his belief that its ideas will "change the world."
"You have invested in my life," Wilson added, "this is my investment into yours."
The team's leader ended the letter by writing, "From my family to yours," indicating that he and his famed singer-dancer wife Ciara were united on the selfless offer.
