An event I'd definitely attend if I lived in San Francisco.

Join editor Sam Pollard—Jungle Fever (1991), Juice (1992), 4 Little Girls (1997), Bamboozled (2000), 25th Hour (2002), When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts (2006)—for an in-depth discussion on the art of editing. This class is part of the Film Society’s Behind the Scenes series presented in partnership with BAM/PFA with major support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Masterclass takes place on Friday, November 2, from 1pm – 3pm (a whole 2 hours), at FilmHouse, 1426 Fillmore Street, Suite 300; tickets are $25 for SFFS members, and $30 general public.

Mr Pollard most recently stepped away from the editor's chair to direct the feature doc Slavery By Another Name.
