Despite Kyrie Irving’s dynamic performance in the NBA Finals, and of course LeBron being…well LeBron, there is another star from the Cavs’ championship run — J.R. Smith. J.R., who came to Cleveland last year after time ocultuverseas and run with the New York Knicks, won his first championship on Sunday.

Needless to say, he is amped, and we are amped right along with him. Here’s why post-championship J.R. Smith is how we want to be all Summer Sixteen:

1. His emotional postgame tribute to his father put us in our feelings.

2. Living legend right here.

3. He literally hasn’t worn a shirt since the postgame party in Vegas.

4. Got off the plane, still living his life, no shirt on.

5. He is a man of the people.

6. This man showed up to the championship parade, still with no shirt AND in his game shorts.

7. He’s that bold friend that doesn’t care what you think. You want to reach his levels of carefree.

8. J.R.’s story since the win actually needs to be made into a film.

9. Both of these ideas would be for the culture.

10. The whole city is behind him.

11. I am 100 percent backing this idea. #BlackPlotTwists

12. Also supporting this as well. #Smith2016

13. His daughter was just daring someone to try them.

14. His influence has extended to Kyrie.

15. It’s all J.R. until further notice.

J.R., never stop being J.R.
