nullHarlem, and New York filmgoers in general, are in for a treat, because, tomorrrow, Friday, Oct 5, there will be a special advance sneak preview of Ava DuVernay's Middle of Nowhere, with Ms. DuVernay in person.

The event is part of the Harlem Arts Alliance’s Harlem Arts Advocacy Week, and will feature a panel conversation moderated by Moikgantsi Kgama of ImageNation, with Jamal Joseph, former chair of Columbia University's Graduate Film Division, Michaela Angela Davis (image activist and cultural critic), Liz Gayle of the Osborne Association, and Steven Renderos of the Center for Media Justice, all joining as panelists.

The event will take place at RAW SPACE, which is located at 2031 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd, NYC (between 121st & 122nd Sts).

The panel will also be livestreamed on the website for the National Black Programming Consortium HERE starting at 7:30PM Eastern time.
