Streaming services can be a great way to cut the cord but sooner or later the more services you get, the faster they began to add it.

Spotify and Hulu want to remedy that by joining forces with a $5 bundle for college students on a budget. Starting today, college students can purchase the bundle at $4.99 a month.

The bundle called “Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu” will offer the same features existing music without ads offering for undergrads at Title IV accredited colleges or universities, according to Deadline

Hulu, which is usually $7.99 a month, is probably the best deal in the package because users can access the app at a discounted price.

“The first step the companies are taking to bundle their services together, with offerings targeted at the broader market to follow,” the companies said in a statement.

Spotify sees this union as a way to compete with Pandora, Google Music, Apple and others as streaming options become more popular and affordable. In the future, this offer could reach the border public.
