Summer Walker revealed there are some songs from her latest album, Still Over It, that she isn't able to perform just yet due to "fresh wounds." A video from one of her recent shows surfaced, in which the singer addressing the crowd in the middle of her performance, saying, "I cannot do that song," acknowledging what she felt would be a disappointment for some of her fans.

"For anybody who came here and was like, 'Oh, she didn't do 'Reciprocate,' she didn't do 'Circus,' she didn't do 'Session 33,' I didn't do a lot of songs from the new album," she said.

"I want you to know that this s**t is real. l write a lot of my stuff. I write most of my stuff and, you know, it's still a fresh wound. My baby, she's not even 1 yet and I ain't got time to be up here singing that s**t, crying in front of y'all. So, I sang what I could and I hope that y'all still enjoy the show," she continued.

Her supporters in the crowd showed their respect for her honest confession by erupting into applause. Some of her fans online also supported the singer's decision, saying how "understandable" her situation is.

Summer Walker and producer London on da Track were dating and had a child together. According to Complex, the singer accused London of walking in and out of their child's life.

“She’s not one of your little cars or props you can just post for clout,” Walker wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram. “I wish you would just go. We don’t need you. She has a real father over here. We be the ones sleep deprived taking care of her while you out doing whatever.”
