Gabriel Garcia, who's facing charges after allegedly participating in the Jan. 6 insurrection, says customers at his business are irritated with the loud noise emanating from his court-ordered GPS ankle monitor.

According to The Washington Post, Garcia is now begging the judge to remove the device, saying the sound is driving away potential clients who come to request handiwork service at Supreme Aluminum in Miami. 

In addition to complaining about the device's beeping, Garcia is annoyed with officials who call him while he's engaging his customers to ask for his exact location.

Despite Garcia's repeated request to have the device removed, the court is showing no mercy. 

“The monitor has randomly started beeping loudly around potential clients, immediately followed by an embarrassing phone call from pretrial services asking for his exact location,” Garcia's lawyers said, according to NBC News.

The defense also adds that the device is a safety hazard.

“The monitor around his ankle is unsafe and a work hazard; he climbs ladders and the GPS monitor often gets stuck on the next ladder step when climbing; one time, he almost fell off a ladder,” they said. 

As he continues to beg for sympathy, the former Army captain said he needs to operate his business 24 hours a day in order to pay for legal fees tied to the allegations he faces in the Capitol riot case. He also said he has to pay fees associated with with his recent divorce case. 

Garcia is accused of aggressively confronting officers in the Capitol. Prosecutors are also suspecting him of inciting other rioters to charge and break through police lines. The Florida resident recorded Facebook Live videos on Jan. 6 which are now being used as evidence against him.

One video shows him walking with a large group of people toward the Capitol around 2 p.m. In another clip he recorded, Garcia is seen inside a room within the Capitol. 

“We just went ahead and stormed the Capitol. It’s about to get ugly,” the suspect can be heard saying in one of his videos.

An affidavit states that Garcia called officers “traitors” during the chaos and tried to help another rioter escape from police. 

"You ain’t stopping a million. You ain’t gonna hold a million back today. Sorry. Ain’t holding a million of us,” Garcia said to Capitol police.

He is also accused of telling members of the crowd to “storm” the wall of officers. The business owner allegedly went looking for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi while he was in the building, telling her to "come out and play."

Before the chaos came to an end, Garcia demanded to "free Enrique," in reference to Enrique Tarrio, leader of the Proud Boys had been arrested two days earlier.
