The recent healthcare discussions have been pretty contentious and things have heated up even more now that the House has passed its version of the "anti-Affordable Care Act" healthcare bill, the American Health Care Act.

Well, there has been more heat added to the fire. Republican Representative Paul Labrador recently made a claim in defense of the bill noting, "Nobody dies because they don't have access to health care."

Um, WHAT?!

The "WTF" feelings are apparently mutual for California Senator Kamala Harris who called out the House Rep, stating, "You might as well say, 'People don't starve because they don't have food,'" Harris said on the Pod Save America podcast, which is run by former members of President Barack Obama's staff. "What the f*ck is that? What are you saying? How can you say that?"

The Democratic Senator Harris was recently elected to the Senate in 2016 and has become a star player in the Democratic party, especially for her outspoken views against Republican policies such as the AHCA. The House's bill is on its way to the Senate, and doesn't appear to have a clear path to becoming law at this time.

"The truth is that these folks are playing politics with public health," Harris said. "If Republicans want people to lose their health care, then the Republicans need to lose their job." She continued, saying that Republicans are "engaged in all this happy talk that is bull — not truth."

She recently double-down on her criticisms via Twitter, also encouraging users to share their personal stories in regards to the lack of access to healthcare:
