At times, surfing OnDemand, scrolling through your Netflix queue and scouring Hulu for a hidden gem may not yield ideal results for a weekend of binge-watching. But although popular web series like Brown Girls, Tough Love and RoomieLoverFriend have long come to an end or have been adapted for television, plenty of Black creatives still tell our stories online.

Creators are maintaining their voices within comedy and drama and are branching further into more professional-based content that inspires Black Millennials in new ways. So if you need a break from the silver screen and streaming services, tune into these six web series for a fresh change of pace.

1) All My Friends Are Married

Living single in New York City is an uphill battle in this comedic web series. Created by Mercedes Brazier-Thurman, the show chronicles the life of Lauren, a woman struggling to balance the exhaustive intersection of dating, career and a social life all while inundated with her friends’ Save The Date wedding invitations. Awkwardly funny and heavy with sarcasm, Lauren’s everyday experiences capture the difficulties of adulting while attempting to quell the fears of being love-less.

2) Blacker
Naughty Puppy Productions

Created by Rhett Owen and Eric Lockley, Blacker is a comedy series that explores and deconstructs racism through interracial dating. At the show’s start, Addison Lovingwood, an intolerant white guy played by both Owen and Lockley, has an aggressive run-in with a magical Black female vendor that causes him to be seen as Black by everyone but his white girlfriend. Each episode captures the impact the change has on his life, from his professional growth to meeting his girlfriend’s parents for the first time. However, what begins as willful ignorance to his racist behavior ends in a desperate search to find the witch and reverse the spell…and his ways.

3) Pillow Talk
Tough Love Series

After the award-winning success of the Tough Love Series, its creators extend the stories of 20- and 30-somethings with Pillow Talk, a spin-off chronicling a newly single woman exploring the complexities of monogamy and human intimacy. After Lyric, a relationship expert, loses her job and her man, she’s forced to reinvent herself and redefine her worth, but an unexpected love interest may throw a wrench in her personal evolution.

4) You’re My Boooyfriend
The Zeus Network

If you were a Flavor of Love, I Love New York and For the Love of Ray J junkie, then you’ll be a sucker for B. Simone’s new show. Created by rising comedic star whose breakout fame began on Instagram, this show is a scripted reality dating competition to find the funny girl the perfect companion. With the help of her best friend Vee, B. Simone selects male contestants who will face a series of challenges to win her heart. Makeout sessions, tearful heart-to-hearts and fisticuffs—it all premieres on March 10.

5) Professional Black Girl
Calm Dog Productions

Created by Yaba Blay, Professional Black Girl is a docu-style celebration of extraordinary, everyday Black women and culture. Filled with inspiring conversations and cinematic visuals, each episode explores the journey of business owners, artists and every woman in between, no matter the number of academic degrees or size of achievements. These impactful stories feel like talking “with your homegirl, your sister, your auntie, or your mama” and embrace the joy of being a Black woman. Season two is set to premiere in April.

6) One Night Stand
Trabass Productions

Marriage is different for every couple. In Andrew Trabass’ latest series, Simone and Anthony are 4 years in but are enduring a stale period. While Anthony is career-focused and consumed with the monotony of married life, Simone is itching to enjoy her 20s. But while a one night stand can be a harmless fling, when holy matrimony is involved, it turns into a dangerous one-sided obsession.
