Update (November 8, 2018): The niece of Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley has been confirmed as one of the victims killed in Wednesday night's shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in California. As of early Thursday afternoon, Mowry-Housley and her husband were still searching for their relative.

Hours later, the couple confirmed the 22-year-old's death.

"Our hearts are broken. We just learned that Alaina was one of the victims of last night's shooting at Borderline bar in Thousand Oaks," the statement read. "Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her, and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for our privacy at this time."

Her niece’s suitemate sent a tweet at 5:27 a.m. EST asking people to look out for the missing woman, identified as Alaina Housley following the shooting at the California bar, according to People Magazine. Shooter Ian David Long opened fire during "Country College Night" at Borderline Bar and Grill on Wednesday night, leaving twelve people dead, according to NBC News.

Mowry-Housely identified herself as the woman’s aunt and asked for more information.

“Ashely [sic] this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley. Can you please DM me your information?” she wrote.

Unfortunately, Ashley didn’t have any more information but confirmed she was in contact with Adam Housley, Mowry-Housley’s husband. She told the actress her niece is the only person who remains missing.

Adam asked his Twitter followers to pray and expressed hope for a positive outcome. He referred to Alaina as “a beautiful soul.”

Long was later found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The only victim who has been publicly identified is Ventura County Police Sergeant Ron Helus.
