Causeway, the upcoming A24 film starring Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry, has landed at Apple.

The New Orleans-based film, which Lawrence also produced, is directed by Lila Neugebauer.

The film is described as “an intimate portrait of a soldier struggling to adjust to her life after returning home to New Orleans.” It will debut in theaters and on Apple TV+ later this year.

The film is Ottessa Moshfegh & Luke Goebel and Elizabeth Sanders. Justine Ciarrocchi for Excellent Cadaver produces the film and Neugebauer serves as executive producer as well. Causeway is produced by IAC Films, IPR.VC, Excellent Cadaver and A24.

Causeway continues the A24 partnership with Apple, where the studio also launched The Tragedy of Macbeth, On the Rocks and more.

After the success of Oscar winner CODA, other upcoming Apple films include Raymond & Ray starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke; Spirited starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer, and Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Killers of the Flower Moon.
