Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison on Wednesday after being convicted of two sex crime charges from two women, reports USA Today — and Twitter is quite satisfied.

Jurors found the Hollywood producer guilty of first-degree criminal sexual act for forcibly performing oral sex on production assistant Miriam “Mimi” Haleyi in 2006, for which he will serve 20 years.

He was also convicted of third-degree rape for attacking Jessica Mann in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013, for which he will serve three years.

The two sentences will be served consecutively.

After his victims called for the highest possible sentencing of 29 years, Weinstein expressed regret.

“I feel remorse for this situation. I feel it deep in my heart. I’m really trying to be a better person," he said. “[I] would do a lot of things over. I would care less about the movies and care more about my children and my family…I may never see my children again."

He will be formally registered as a sex offender. Before his sentencing, Weinstein faced a minimum of five years, which his defense lawyers requested in recent court filings, according to Variety.

“I am totally confused. I think men are confused about all of this…this feeling of thousands of men and women who are losing due process, I’m worried about this country,” he told Judge James Burke. “This is not the right atmosphere in the United States of America.”

Weinstein was being held at Rikers Island but will now be moved into the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
