For the last week, Twitter has been overrun by hilarious jokes referencing Black people, superpowers and Dec. 21, a day scientists are calling "The Great Conjunction."

NASA explained that on the evening of December 21, the bright planets Jupiter and Saturn will come together to look like one star, an event that happens every few decades but is particularly special this year.

"What makes this year’s spectacle so rare, then? It’s been nearly 400 years since the planets passed this close to each other in the sky, and nearly 800 years since the alignment of Saturn and Jupiter occurred at night, as it will for 2020, allowing nearly everyone around the world to witness this 'great conjunction,'" NASA wrote.

But one Twitter user said the date is special for another reason, setting off a week of absolutely gut-busting jokes on Twitter.

On a Twitter thread about the coronavirus vaccine conspiracy theories, one woman floated the idea that Dec. 21 would feature Black people gaining special abilities.

As black people, genetically we are stronger and smarter than everyone else, we are more creative, on December 21 our Real DNA will be unlocked and majority will be able to do things that we thought were fiction. Learn who u are as a people ????????‍???? they wanna make us average

Black folks on Twitter not only roasted the woman for her outlandish theory but turned it into a meme that spawned days of top-tier jokes.

December 21st is now and forever known as the Negro Solstice.
