Soledad O’Brien is coming back to television. The former CNN personality who brought us Black in America will be anchoring once again in her first time in a role since Al Jazeera America dissolved.

According to Variety, Hearst Television is relaunching its political series Matter of Fact for a second season, with O’Brien as anchor. The show, hosted in its first season by Fernando Espuelas, airs in select Hearst stations across the nation.

In addition to the Hearst stations, the show will be on some stations under CBS, Meredith, Nexstar, E.W. Scripps, Tegna and Tribune, and Fox-owned stations in Los Angeles and Charlotte, totaling its reaching to about 75 percent of the country.

“I realized their whole goal was really to elevate the stories and conversation across the country,” said O’Brien. She hopes that they will pick up some context that other shows may miss.

“Most of the people I do interviews with, whether they are friendly or contentious, they always respect that the conversation will be smart and they will be held to a really high standard,” she added.

The show is set to air first on the weekend of September 10-11, and a commemoration is planned for 9/11.
