Houston rapper NFL Cartel Bo, as well as 20 other men, have been charged with gun crimes after appearing with weapons in the viral video for the song "Hoova." Bo collaborated with fellow Houston rapper Maxo Kream on the track.

KPRC reports the two rappers had men believed to be members of the 52 Hoover Gangsta Crips appear in the background of the music video holding loaded guns. According to XXL Magazine, the video was filmed near Hilliard Elementary School around dismissal time; police were called by citizens concerned about the proximity of the shoot to the children.

Police arrived on scene and are seen in the visuals chasing a number of the men unsuccessfully; many of those featured in the video dropped their guns in the park as they worked to elude capture.

Houston's police force didn't give up, however, and when the video was posted to World Star's YouTube page, officers watched the clip to identify the men.

“These are bad people, they’re cowards, and they have no respect for the sanctity of human life,” Police Chief Art Acevedo said, calling the rappers and their friends “people that present a danger to this community.”

Eleven of the men identified have been arrested, according to Rolling Stone, and many were ordered to appear in court this week.

Pitchfork reports NFL Cartel Bo, real name Warren Brown, is still at large after cutting off his ankle bracelet. Maxo Kream, whose real name is Emekwanem Biosah Jr., was not arrested in connection to the guns; officers are still on the hunt for nine other men featured in the video.
